Legislative Reception and Lobby Day
Virginia21 members, students, and supporters had a tremendous time at Virginia21’s 2013 Annual Legislative Reception. Held on Cary Street a few blocks from the Capitol, the Reception boasts attendance from senior legislatures, college administrators, and prominent members of the community who come to meet the next generation of leaders. Over 150 18–25 year olds come to our Reception and Lobby Day, making it one of the most important and influential opportunities for young people across Virginia to make their voices heard.
With accessibility, affordability, and quality continuing to be the central concerns of all students in Virginia , we made sure that we were heard on Lobby Day with student representatives from every college across Virginia in attendance.
